I wanted to post this gallery of Marissa at the Studio HR so badly.
Even though I know I have so many other sessions to post, so many other sessions to edit, and I know y’all are probably sick of me posting about Marissa. BUT, I don’t care. I am so freaking tired and this session makes me so proud of myself. I don’t normally shoot in a studio because I am never comfortable when doing so. I think its because I’ve never had a consistent space to shoot in. I love shooting outside because I love constantly finding new areas during a session to switch up the scenery… YOU CAN’T DO THAT INSIDE. lol. Unless you have a full studio to work with then maybe.
So I was beside myself as I nervously uploaded all of the photos to Lightroom and started to edit them.. I was so surprised at how easy my editing style complimented the lighting in the images. I kept running to the nearest window so the majority of them are near a window but there are some that aren’t!
Let me tell ya, the Studio Hampton Roads was amazing to shoot in.
Leah and Sam have done a beautiful job creating a creative space for photographers. They even have complimentary water and coffee (cause I was freaking sweating from being so nervous) I loved every single part of shooting there. It’s super affordable to book with them too! All online and they are readily available to answer any questions and walk you through it. I seriously cannot recommend it enough. You can check it out here.
I also wanted to post these because I really want to get back on track with posting.
I was on a roll, and then I fell off because I was bogged down by so much all at once. I really want to get back on track and this seemed like a great start to that. This is such a great set and I can’t thank Marissa enough for once again remaining chill and helping me create magic.
Let me know what you think about the studio shoot below!
