Celebrating a Queen | Portrait Session | Studio Muse

A Queen enters the studio

*Bows down* That is what we do here. We honor our queens and are grateful for their presence.. I am also extremely grateful for Des, who is a constant light to work with and helped bring this vision to life. When I first saw The Studio Muse in Norfolk I was like omg I have to shoot there. The entire studio was my vibe. The simple but elegant nature of the furniture pieces to the cement floor really pulled me in. I had always wanted to do a Goddess/Queen inspired shoot and I just knew this was the perfect setting for it all.

Also, Marissa keeps pushing me to try boudoir so a snuck in a hint at that.

Just for her. lol I’ll get there, I promise.

I loved the creative direction this ended up going though. We started a little more modest because I was doing a Facebook Live for Unraveled Academy but once we closed that I wanted to take the vibe a step further to truly make my vision come to life.

I immediately knew it was the right decision.

What’s great about Des and what I truly admire about her is her love for herself. Something that drew me to her was how much she radiated strength in something I truly lack. I am not confident in my body at all. Not even a little bit. Some days I can feel a hint of strength but then I snatch it from myself hard. But seeing her be the queen that she knows she is is so inspiring.
