A gallery featuring my favorite studio: Studio Muse

Not only is Studio Muse close by but it is so beautiful. It is on par with the aesthetic I love when shooting indoors. The light is just enough to create stunning portraits without needing extra lights and the decor is subtle enough to add some flair to the space without taking over the entire set. The owner, Lindsay, is also incredibly sweet and makes sure you feel welcome and excited to use the space!

This was my first portrait photoshoot back from my brief hiatus.

I was a little nervous because I was still a little uninspired. I saw my model friend Ashley had just got her hair dyed a bright red, and I had a jolt of creativity. I wanted to shoot with her really badly. Luckily I had a concept on my board that would fit it perfectly!

I tried a few new things. We even shot in the pouring rain! We were waiting for it outside the studio and it was incredible watching the rain come towards us! As we braced ourselves I started panicking and ended up just spraying and praying lol! I think I got some pretty great shots considering!

I am incredibly happy that Ashley was down to shoot this concept with me.

I wasn’t surprised because she has been an amazing supporter of mine for a little while but still incredibly grateful. I have an amazing group of creative friends that I lean on in times of doubt or when I need to vent and Ashley is one of those people! It’s crazy how much one trip could solidify our friendship!

I am really happy with how these turned out.

I am also really happy I returned to the portrait photography world. There is truly something special about it.
